Disney Getaway

Yep, more Disney. But that is what can happen when you have passes! We convinced a few mama friends that Disney World is even more fun without their kids. As we drove away, some of their kids were kind of confused they were getting left behind haha

We spent most of the three hour drive belting our favorite tunes. We made a road trip mix where everyone got to pick a few of their all time favorite songs. We just had too many goodies to make one so we happily made two (see video at the end). We got to the hotel and did what we do best. NERTZ TOURNAMENT ALL NIGHT LONG! I think we finally called it a night around 2 or 2:30 because we knew we needed some sleep for the following day in the park.
But these ladies are NERTZ obsessed. They could have kept going until at least 4...

We were able to sneak into Belle's castle
for lunch (with no reservation)!

There are two kinds of people in this world:
  • People who watch the parades
  • People who ride the rides DURING the parades

Our friend Jenny was the lone wolf on this one.
She made sure we she watched the parades...

While the rest of us...

Another one of my favorite things to do in Disney is take selfies on Thunder Mt Railroad.
The ride is so fast and people are usually laughing the whole time.
The faces people make are just too good.

PURE JOY RIGHT THERE!

Until next time!

(everyone tell SJ that it is a good idea to renew our Disney passes...)

Feliz CupleaƱos

Shaun and I can not seem to get off the themed party train. There is something so fun about planning and throwing a party with a theme. Especially when it makes people dress up or get out of their comfort zone. Last year we had everyone embarrass themselves with a lip-sync birthday party. This years birthday celebration was a fiesta! My talented-graphic-designer-bestie made my invites. Aren't they adorable?!
We had plans of grander with the party decor, but Florida humidity/the wind had different plans. We were grateful that there wasn't any rain. We were also grateful that we had only one mishap with the lights. Nobody got a concussion! It was a beautiful night with our favorite people.

#frida

Larissa, I want you to frame this.

After dinner we had a giant blowdart war. Thanks to the Browne's who let us borrow their pipes!

It's so fun to have my birthday so close to SJ's. Here's to many more birthdays together!

Twin Sister & Some February

I can't forget to blog about Stiiiiitch visiting me in February. She took advantage of the cheap Boston>>>Florida tickets (don't worry sis I'm coming soon!) We had such a fun lil guurls trip.

People RARELY think we look sistas so when we are together we like taking pictures that make us look like we are!

Orange Crunch cake on Sanibel

Other February things:

My FAVORITE date.
Dinner, Shopping, & a Photo Booth pic

Birthday Shenanigans.
We have loved having friends live so close!

We also love having friends that push us on their tire swing and let us hold their chickens
(while we think of all the bird germs that exist ;)

January

The past few years I have gotten the great pleasure to have my Dad fly home with us after Christmas. I look forward to the one-on-one time I get with him. He makes us laugh and is so easy to please. An umbrella, a good book, and a beach is all he needs. I can't wait for him to come again.

(Thanks Larissa- the HIGHLIGHT of his trip)

I got to go cheer on some INCREDIBLE friends who run fast.
If it wasn't super weird, I would probably go and sit at finish lines every weekend.
So emotional. So uplifting.
We had to participate in the powerball madness.
We didn't even get the satisfaction of thinking we COULD win.
Didn't even have one number.

Sj had a work conference in Orlando. Work by day, Disney by night.

For almost a year, Jenny and I begged the Rita's establishment to get Root Beer flavor.
It finally happened! (and it wasn't even that great...) But we loved being addressed as
"the root beer girls"

More Disney fun:

I love Winnie the Pooh! My first word was poooooh..

How adorable is my little friend Ross??!
Tipped Mickey hat.
uneven mickey socks.
hands in pockets.
dead.
Speaking of my little Rossy sauce, his parents moved and took him away from me.
I miss our little dates.

..I guess I miss his mama too ;) Last summer when all our friends were out of town, the three of us got super close. I loved laughing with these ladies and miss our little trio. Thankfully they humored me with a little friendship photoshoot before Hays left. I love surrounding myself with strong hilarious women!

His little hand on Shaun's knee? melting.
Loved watching these two together.
COME BACK CASTLES!
