I am determined to blog more frequently again. After seeing my dear friend Kelsey be so good at it, it has re-motivated me!

The saddest day is coming and I am not even that sad because I do think I am in denial. So I'll be sad when I drive over to this beauty's house and she doesn't answer the door. One of my closest friends here in Georgia, Kim Wernli, is suddenly moving back to her hometown in Ohio. Could not be more happy for her and her family but we thought Shaun and I would be long gone before they ever left. Our husbands work together at Merial and considering that they are pretty much the same person, they became close. I am so thankful that we like each other as much as our husbands do!! This 'hanging out with couples thing' is like being put back into the dating world {haha} so it's a miracle that we both LOVE each other. 

This powerhouse mama is a mother of four including two year old twins! I have been so blessed being able to witness such an INCREDIBLE example of a mother. When our husbands would go on trips for work I would just move on in to the Wernli household and it was fantastic. So grateful for this woman and how she can make anyone, instantly her best friend. Thankfully SJ was a saint and babysat the klan last night so the girls could have one last hurrah/birthday celebration. So many funny memories with Kimberly. When I look back in our short time in Georgia, this beautiful face will always come to mind!

Can't Take My Eyes Off of You

You probably all have gotten the idea that Shaun loves to make videos, and for birthday/holiday gifts we end up making music videos etc for our favorites. For example, remember our family gangnam style for missionary brother?

So for Father's Day it was appropriate to do the same. KC (Shaun's Dad) performed in a singing youth group called Galena when he was in high school. He recently found some footage of one of his performances. So we decided to reenact it for one of his Father's Day gifts. We filmed ourselves doing the original choreography and lip synced to KC's recording. It took us a while getting the moves to be exact. I wish we would have counted how many takes it took. We are just both such perfectionist. But not gonna lie, I had a blast laughing at our mistakes and trying again and again with my love.

Girls Camp

Just a photo dump of Girls Camp. I feel most at home when I am with these crazy girls. I so enjoyed being there the whole week. Getting my hair braided everyday, doing a ropes course, laughing, hiking to water falls, and most importantly sharing our testimonies. What a week.

Loyalty for your life.

I love when my beautiful sister missionary sister writes home. Her words are so inspirational and she is just always on a spiritual high. I wish we could all be on that "high" all of the time. It's kind of like the high I would feel when I was doing EFY or even during some of these weeks where I am putting everything I have into a lesson I am teaching on Sunday. A few weeks ago she wrote home something that I loved.

"Elder Nash from the Seventy came to speak to us. He talked about being loyal to your call. I loved how he described it like that! Everyone's like 'love it, be happy, go with faith' but being LOYAL just resonated with me. Y'all know that I have about 10 friends and 7 immediate family members and that's it. That's my circle. Loyalty is something that you feel down in your soul. Your whole self, even your feet figuratively and literally have to be loyal so that you're always facing the right direction and moving forward..."

Loyal is: giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution. I love that it includes the word -showing- as well. It takes action. I then was thinking of being loyal in every aspect of our lives. Being loyal to our friends and family of course, but also in our callings, to our community, to our membership in the church and to LIFE. Like Kristine said, loyalty moves us forward in life. When you are loyal in your workplace, you earn more trust and may be promoted. Loyalty in family and friends makes your bonds closer. Loyalty in your church and callings make you and your testimony grow. WE CAN NEVER FAIL WITH LOYALTY. And if we have loyalty always resinating with us .."we will always be facing the right direction and moving forward."
